MAUNi and U-ACT play distinct, complementary parts in governance.

Global

MAUNi — ISO Certification Body

Holds the ISO/IEC 17024-aligned Certification Body role across the network — the standard governing how a person is assessed and certified, wherever they train.

South Africa

U-ACT — SAQA Accreditation

Carries accreditation recognition from SAQA (the South African Qualifications Authority) — local statutory recognition alongside MAUNi’s global certification standard.

CPD Certified

The CPD Certification Service · Member U-ACT (017908) · Certificate No. 48941 · issued November 2023.

CLERO Accredited

College of Lived Experience Recovery Organisations · Accredited (Certified) Member, ratified 7 July 2026. Confirms LERO status: independent, place-based, committed to ongoing development.

ICR Accredited Training Provider

Ubuntu Academy of Coaching Training · Accreditation (Training Provider) · valid 31 January 2017 – 1 January 2027.

ISO/IEC 17024 Alignment

MAUNi operates as the ISO/IEC 17024-aligned Certification Body across the network, with U-ACT delivering training in South Africa through DCC.
